Alan Proto Managing Partner
In 1997 Alan Proto, opened the first Secret Garden Day Nursery, in Maidstone, Kent. By the end of 2002 the Secret Garden group had grown to six nurseries, caring for the children of 800 families, and employing 150 staff. In 2003 the group was sold to Asquith Court Schools.
Since 2005 Alan has been Managing Partner of Nexus PINE, and is also Chairman of Treetops Day Nurseries, a top ten day nursery provider
Alan gained a degree in Economics at Cambridge University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in London.

Harry Hyman Partner
Harry Hyman is the founder of Nexus Structured Finance. After graduating from Cambridge he qualified as a chartered accountant.
In 1994 Harry founded Primary Health Properties PLC, a listed company that specialises in the ownership of property leased on a long-term basis to health care providers.
He was appointed managing director following the company's flotation in 1996. He is managing director of the Nexus Structured Finance Limited, which is the holding company for a group of companies engaged in the provision of independent financial advice, and services to organisations operating in the public sector and private sectors with a particular emphasis on healthcare and property.

Glenn Robinson Deputy Managing Director
Glenn Robinson joined Nexus PINE in 2010 from a position as a Board Director of an AIM-listed £80m turnover technology business. He brings with him a wealth of business experience and expertise, and initially will be working largely on the second round PINE fundraising.
Glenn has a degree in Mathematics from Loughborough University, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in Leicester.

Clare Wilson Group Finance Director
Clare Wilson was previously headed up the financial team responsible for European acquisitions and development at Arriva plc. Clare joined Treetops as FD in 2009, and was promoted to the role of Group FD in 2010. Clare is ACCA qualified.
